If you change your mind - 7 Day Guarantee, you may request a refund of your initial deposit up to 7 days after placing your order.
Your deposit is to secure your slot in my commissions diary. I will block period of time, usually a number of weeks for your commission, as such after these 7 days I am not able to offer a refund of the initial deposit.
If for any reason I am unable to be carry out the work, then I will refund in full.
Price Freeze - I will hold the price of a portrait for one year from the date the booking has been secured, (or Gift Voucher purchased) by payment on my wait list. This gives ample time for photographs to be agreed etc. After this period the price will revert to the current one and the difference will need to be paid.
Full Payment - must be made before the artwork is posted to or collected by the client. You will receive an image of the completed piece for your approval, after which you will receive an invoice for the final payment. Once the payment is cleared the artwork will be posted.
When the piece has been completed, I will email you a photo of the art for approval. If changes are required, it is at this point I would need to know. If issues cannot be sorted then I will refund but retain the portrait.
If the piece has already been delivered or shipped and there is a reason to return it then the return costs of the art are the responsibility of the client. The artwork should come in the original packing, or if damaged the cost of replacing strong packaging is that of the client, the piece should be returned undamage.
If the client is not content with the alterations made then I will retain the artwork and refund 50% of the total cost paid, excluding postage.
Damage in transport - I pack my art well to prevent damage during transit. It's very unlikely any harm will come to it, however, should it occur, photograph the artwork and packaging damage then contact me. The artwork will need to be returned to me at the clients cost and I will redo it. The wait time will be dependent on the commission list lead time at the date of return.
If you purchase a piece of art from my shop and decide to return it, you have 7 days in which to do so, from the time you receive the artwork. After this time period, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Contact me immediately with the reason and have the artwork returned within 3 days so that it arrives back to me within the 7 days, tracked. It must be repacked securely in its original packing but if that has been destroyed it is the responsibility of the purchaser to supply new secure packing in order to ensure it arrives back in pristine condition to expect a full refund. It is also the purchasers responsibility to pay the return postage cost.
All of my prices are quoted in GBP. Please note refunds are made in GBP and I cannot be held responsible for loss due to fluctuation in exchange rate. Please be aware of your countries fees when buying from abroad.
Gift vouchers - are non refundable and valid for 12 months. They are available for specific sizes. If the holder wishes to upsize, the difference in value based on current price will need to be paid. It is not possible to size down and be refunded on remaining amounts.
For Gift Voucher holders abroad, the postage is not included, this will need to be paid before the artwork is shipped.
When redeeming a Gift voucher, it will be slotted into my current wait list and could take between 8 - 10 weeks.
If the recipient cannot provide adequate photos or doesn't want a portrait, the purchaser can regift the voucher , keeping me informed of the new recipient.
Artwork images - I retain copyright for all the artwork that I create, I also retain the right to use the images of the pet portrait/art on my website and for promotional material. The final artwork may also be used for reproduction on other merchandise and prints. If clients are not happy with their artwork being used for these purposes, please let me know at the time or ordering.
Should the portrait be a surprise gift then the portrait will not be revealed until after it has been gifted.
SHIPPING - I am very careful in my choice of packaging to ensure your artwork is well protected and will arrive in pristine condition.
I will use Royal Mail, DPD or similar with tracking.
Free P&P within the UK.
For framed artwork and international postage there will be a charge. In order to achieve the best rate for the appropriate country, a cost will be quoted at the time you wish to order and will need to be paid for in full before the artwork is dispatched. Please contact me for a quote before ordering if you are outside of the UK.
Please note if ordering from outside of England, there may be duties imposed by your country. I am not able to advise or be responsible for any of these costs.
