FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does it take you to complete a commission? This can vary hugely depending on the size and subject of a commission. I will let you know just before I start working on your commission piece and may be able to give you a loose indication of timescale.
I use only the finest professional artist grade coloured pencils and either pastelmat board, the best quality drafting film or high quality watercolour paper. Which one I choose depends very much on the style of the subjects and my own instinct.
Do you frame your commission portraits? No, your portrait will come in a museum quality mountboard but not framed. This is because framing is very much an individual choice depending on taste and decor. I do recommend you take your artwork to a professional framers however.
What about delivery? I use DPD, Royal Mail or similar with tracking. I take great care to ensure your artwork is package well before dispatching.
Do you offer refunds of the initial deposit if I change my mind? Your deposit it to secure your slot in my commissions diary. I will block out a period of time, usually a number of weeks for your commission. As such, I am not able to offer a refund of the initial deposit. Please see Terms & Conditions for more information.
